Shop "Asthma Friendly" This Holiday Season

Monday November 27, 2006
Do you know what products would be "asthma friendly" for your child or family member with asthma?

AAFA Asthma Friendly LogoThe Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) has launched a new program to certify certain toys and other products as asthma friendly. What does that mean? Well, the AAFA says that such products have been "scientifically tested and proven to be more suitable for people with asthma and allergic sensitivities."

Certified "asthma friendly" bedding will also be available before Christmas. Just look for the logo pictured here or the "asthma-friendly" registration® mark.

To learn more about the program or to see what products have been certified, follow the links below. Stores participating in stocking asthma friendly products include Target, Build a Bear, Kohl's, FAO Schwartz, and Learning Express.
