Joshua Davidson, MD, MPH, is a former writer for Verywell Health covering allergies. Dr. Davidson began his career as a physician at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif. During this time he pursued training in pediatrics and served as a clinical instructor in the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Department. He then pursued additional post-graduate training at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colo., the #1 respiratory hospital in the United States for the past 15 years.
He subsequently opened a private allergy/immunology practice, Davidson Allergy, in Torrance, Calif., where he continues to serve patients in his local community.
Dr. Davidson graduated from Brandeis University with highest honors with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and a minor in Health, Law and Society. He then obtained a Masters degree in Health Policy and Administration from Yale University, and a Doctor of Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Davidson then completed a residency in pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colo.
