Immunotherapy

A.D.A.M.
Definition: Immunotherapy is a series of allergy shots given to gradually get your body "used to" an allergen or asthma trigger, so that you can build up a tolerance to it. In a more general sense, immunotherapy is any medication or treatment that alters the immune system, such as vaccines.
