Peak Flow Meter

A.D.A.M.

Definition: A peak flow meter measures airflow when you breathe out. This is known as the peak flow. It tells you how well your lungs are working and how well your asthma is controlled. When peak flow stays lower than your normal reading, your asthma may be getting out of control.
