Definition: An asthma trigger is a substance or event that sets off asthma symptoms. There are many different asthma triggers. Triggers vary from person to person, but here are some of the most common:
  • Dust
  • Pollen
  • Animal Dander
  • Breathing Cold Air
  • Exertion
  • Reactions to Foods or Medications
  • Workplace Chemicals
  • Cigarette Smoke
