Question: Do Asthma Genetic Factors Cause Asthma?

Answer: Experts do know that some people are born with a tendency to develop asthma. This is due to certain asthma genetic factors. This tendency appears to be closely related to a history of allergies. Asthma also tends to run in families. So, if your brother, sister, or a parent has asthma, it’s highly likely that you will develop it too.
