Question: How Do I Care for My Peak Flow Meter?

Answer: To keep your peak flow meter working correctly, it needs proper care and cleaning. Wash your peak flow meter in hot water and mild detergent once a week, or more often if it gets dirty, especially if you have a cold or respiratory infection. Let it air dry on a towel before using it again. Store your peak flow meter in a clean, dry spot in your home where children cannot get to it.
